Corporate and Social Responsibility
Goyal Foundation is the social initiative established by Goyal Group in memory of its late founder, Mr. Om Prakash Goyal. Our CSR activities serve the moral objective of alleviating the poverty of health, education, and other bare necessities, which we believe are fundamental human rights. Diligent as we are to each cause, this campaign has also been very successful. The initiative includes the construction of old age homes, sewage systems, shelters and sanitation, health, and disaster relief infrastructure.

In 2018, Mr Kailash Goyal was awarded the Prabal Janasewa Shree, and in 2022, he was awarded with the Sukirtimay Rastradeep (Third) by Rt. Honourable President of Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari, for his immeasurable contributions to the nation – from alleviating suffering and poverty to providing healthcare, education and employment. His success is an emblem of resilience and diligence, his actions an inspiration to the citizens of this developing nation.

In 2019, our founder, Shri Om Prakash Goyal, was awarded with the Prabal Janasewa Shree (posthumously), and in 2020, our director, Mr. Chirag Goyal, was awarded with the Janasewa Shree for his contribution towards the nation during the earthquake and Covid.

We believe that there’s more to life than business. It is said that it is only gratitude and kindness that comprise a good, meaningful life, which is why we share our profits with society.

A Legacy of Firsts

Late Shri Om Prakash Goyal was a pioneer not only in business but in compassion. He was the first individual from the private sector in Nepal to donate an ambulance, a testament to his visionary approach to service and social responsibility. That legacy lives on through the foundation’s continued commitment to urgent needs and long-term development.

Key Initiatives

Education for the Visually Impaired
Understanding that education is the foundation of empowerment, Goyal Foundation has constructed schools for the visually impaired in Jhapa, offering inclusive education and accessible infrastructure for children who are often overlooked by mainstream systems.

Healthcare Support
The foundation has donated two fully equipped ambulances in Jhapa, extending emergency healthcare access to underserved regions. These ambulances have been vital in saving lives and offering timely medical support in rural communities.

Spiritual and Cultural Infrastructure
Recognizing the role of spiritual well-being in community life, the foundation has also built temples in Jhapa, creating spaces of harmony, worship, and cultural preservation for generations to come.

Food and Nutrition for Children
Through regular initiatives, Goyal Foundation provides nutritious meals and food support to underprivileged children, ensuring that no child is held back due to hunger. These efforts are carried out in schools, shelters, and community centers — creating a healthier and more equitable future.
